Please join us for the Sunday,

July 10, 11:00 Liturgy

Please join the entire Saint Cecilia parish community for next Sunday’s eleven o’clock liturgy where we will reaffirm that Saint Cecilia is a place of welcome for all, including the LGBT community. This liturgy is in keeping with the parish’s Year of Celebration and Rededication, and underscores the welcome we extend to all people.

Sunday, June 19, at 6:00 p.m.

on Belvidere Street, in front of Saint Cecilia Church

(rain or shine).

Please bring your friends and loved ones

and pass along this invitation.

We seek to reaffirm our Catholic faith community

as one which is open to and supportive of

gay, lesbian, and transgendered persons

in the loving Spirit of Christ.

The service is open to all who seek

to worship together with dignity and respect.

Prayer for guidance and strength

God, our Father,

we ask for Your guidance and strength.

Jesus, our Shepherd,

we ask for Your light and compassion.

Holy Spirit, our Counselor,

we ask for Your infusion

of the spiritual presence of God

in this and every circumstance.

Holy God, through the intercession

of Your servant, Father Mychal Judge,

we humbly ask for guidance and strength

for Father John Unni,

for all the members of Saint Cecilia parish,

and for your gay and lesbian children

during these challenging times.

Your kingdom come, Your will be done,

by us and through us

as Your will is done in Heaven.

Dear Father Mychal,

friend of God and friend of all,

please take us by the hand and lead us to

the healing, protecting, and guiding power of God,
through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
